On his feet

Om was spotted to be on his own feet without a support for a few seconds on 21st December, 2007, 4 days to his completion of 9 months. My house needs a complete redo at this juncture, i.e., a lot more child conscious, secured.

On Sunday 23rd, we went to Maidan to get Om close to his Horsey... tagbag tagbag. We were amazed that he went on to get over the horsey alone with the unknown horse rider and was soon out of sight within minutes. He returned after few minutes without any intention to get down from the horse. He also closely watched the monkey couple and their stunts-- smile of Rani Mukherjee, action of Sharukh. Then he got hold of a red baloon which made his day.

On Christmas we went to Westside to meet the Santa, collected a snap in his lap and back to the pavilion.

Bla Bla Bla

Busy ... Busy ... Busybody

Uttering all sorts of syllables ...

His hips are hardly on any seat as he is always on his toes...

Whenever I put him on bed he never misses a second to start crawling until he touches the headboard of the bed. After he reaches the headboard he doesn't rest but the next step in his venture is to stand up with the support of the headrest. In this position his head is just above the sill level of our window..

He doesn't stop at that either. He starts banging on the wooden sill instead.

He recognizes horse, lizard, dog.

His favourite song is Ashoke Kumar's "Railgari". He stares at the T.V. screen attentively and smiles or frowns at some points. I wish I could read his mind.
